These top agencies are not located in Connecticut but are the cream of the crop if you are willing to do a bit of traveling. They are very strict so present yourself in the best possible way.
There are many opportunities for all types of models, do not assume that you don’t fall into one of the stereotypical model looks. A male or female model agency works for a variety of clients in all walks of industries so you never know what they might be looking for at any given time.
This is better for the prospective model because it leaves a lot of options and potential modeling gigs open to you.
Going to interviews
If a local modeling agency has an open call, this would probably be the best way to get your foot in the door. Pictures of yourself are both required and essential to making a hiring decision, but if you can show up in person it’s even better as long as you don’t show up unannounced.
Once you are at the CT agency be sure to bring any past modeling jobs and/or photographs you have of yourself that show you in your best possible light and enhance your features. Also, they will need your contact information (phone, email, address) and any other relevant data like your height, clothes sizes, eye color, etc.
Remember, to act professional at all times and to not take a no response too personal in any way, as you never know when you will fit their requirements and get a call back at a later date. Hope your modeling goals come to life!!
